Partsmaster’s files are made from high-quality chromium alloy steel with a cutting surface hardened to 65 Rc. They have a unique ductile core which reduces file breakage and a lacquer coating to prevent rust. Partsmaster’s files come in a variety of shapes and patterns to meet every need. All files, except needle files, are measured exclusive of the tang (from the base of the tang to the tip).
