Cor-Therm™ - Extreme Heat and Corrosion Resistant Alloy

Cor-Therm is a cobalt-base alloy with extreme performance characteristics. Deposits are resistant to molten metals, hot gasses, chemicals and metal-to-metal wear. Cor-Therm has an easily controlled weld deposit and is great for edges and overlays. The slag is self-releasing. Operates on AC as well as DCRP (+).

• Elevated temperatures:
            750°F/ 400°C: 32 Rc
            1110°F/ 600°C: 28 Rc
            1475°F/ 800°C: 22 Rc
            1620°F/ 900°C: 20 Rc
• Machinability: Difficult with carbide tools
• Corrosion resistance: good
• Heat resistance: Good up to 1800°F/982°C with intermittent service to 2100°F/1149°C
