Bare Wire Silver Alloy
Sil-Braze™ is a cadmium-free bare wire silver alloy designed for silver brazing on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals (except white metals).

• Joint strength: up to 70,000 psi/482 MPa
• Elongation: 22%
• Working temperature: 1375°F/746°C
• Electrical conductivity: 19.4% IACS
• Feet per pound:
            - 1/16'': 87 ft.
            - 1/32'': 343 ft.

PROCEDURES
Thoroughly clean the weld area. Maintain a close fit-up, preferably a 0.003” to 0.005” gap. Apply X-Ergon #361 Silver Brazing Flux and heat uniformly with a slightly carburizing flame. Apply brazing alloy and wet out on the surface. Cool parts slowly. Remove flux residue with warm water.
