Hi-Pact™ FC-G - Extreme Impact and Abrasion-Resistant Flux Cored Alloy
Hi-Pact FC-G is the special alloy designed for extreme impact resistance with good abrasion resistance. Its special alloy formulation allows it to be used on all steels, including carbon and manganese steels. It also allows welding in out-of-position applications. It is designed for use with 75% Ar/25% CO2 shielding gas, but can be used without shielding gas. Hi-Pact FC-G is excellent for frogs, hammers switch points, muller tires and many other impact applications.
